Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientists

At our state-of-the-art Research Formulation, Inhalation & Device Centre of Emphasis and Oral Products Centre of Emphasis, highly skilled multidisciplinary teams specialise in the design and development of innovative medicines and drug delivery systems that will eventually go on to enhance the lives of millions of people around the world.
As one of our Formulation Scientists, you'll play a key role in both the development of solid dosage form or inhalation formulations and their associated manufacturing processes. Planning and carrying out experiments, and preparing laboratory-scale batches of novel candidate formulations for processing and evaluation, you'll also assist in the scale-up of lead formulations in support of toxicological evaluation, clinical assessment and commercial development.
With a good degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline, you'll have an understanding of general laboratory procedures, small molecules analysis, solids or inhalation formulation and manufacturing techniques. Strong IT and data recording skills are also important, as is the ability to interpret and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
